Privacy Policy

PureTech Home Services LLC and the PureTech Companies  ·  Last Updated: August 15, 2026  ·  Version 2.0

PureTech Home Services LLC ("PureTech," "PTHS," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, contact us, or engage any of the PureTech Companies for services. By using our site or providing your information, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Who This Policy Covers — The PureTech Companies

This Policy applies to PureTech Home Services LLC and each subsidiary or affiliated company it controls, collectively the "PureTech Companies." As of the Last Updated date, these are:

PureTech Home Services LLC

  • Radon measurement and mitigation, indoor air quality services; owns and operates the website, advertising, telephone number, CRM, scheduling, and billing systems for the company family

  • Primary controller of customer data; operates the shared systems described in this Policy

PureTech Electric LLC (majority owned by PureTech Home Services LLC)

  • Electrical contracting, installation, service, and repair — Wisconsin Electrical Contractor Reg. No. 1701-EC

  • Accesses shared customer records for the jobs it contracts, schedules, performs, permits, invoices, and warrants

The PureTech Companies operate on shared administrative systems. A single customer relationship management (CRM) database, scheduling system, phone system, e-mail platform, e-signature platform, and website serve the whole company family. This means information you provide to one PureTech Company may be accessible to another PureTech Company for the purposes described in this Policy — for example, so that a radon mitigation project and the electrical work it requires can be scheduled, permitted, invoiced, and warranted together.
We may form or acquire additional PureTech Companies. When we do, we will add them to this Section and revise the Last Updated date.
Sharing across the PureTech Companies is internal, not a sale. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with the PureTech Companies or anyone else for their independent marketing purposes.

3.1 Communications Consent

By providing your phone number or e-mail address and clicking Submit on any contact, estimate, or booking form, you expressly consent to be contacted by PureTech Home Services LLC and the PureTech Companies (or their employees, agents, or service providers) via telephone call, SMS/text message, or e-mail for the limited purpose of scheduling, confirming, or discussing the services you requested. Calls or texts may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded voice. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message or by e-mailing support@puretechhs.com. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

4. Real Estate Transactions — Who Receives Your Test Results

Radon testing is frequently ordered in connection with a real estate transaction. Because more than one party has an interest in the result, please note the following.
•    The person or company who ordered and paid for the test is our client and receives the report.
•    Where an agent, broker, relocation company, or transaction coordinator ordered the test on behalf of a party, we deliver the report to that ordering party, and they control further distribution. We will also deliver the report to the property owner on request.
•    We do not independently distribute your test results to the other side of a transaction, to a listing service, to a lender, or to a public database, except as required by law, by a subpoena or court order, or with your authorization.
•    Results may become discoverable by others through the transaction itself — for example, through seller disclosure obligations, inspection contingencies, or documents shared by your agent. We do not control that distribution.
•    We retain test records as part of our service history, and may use de-identified and aggregated results — with no address, name, or identifying detail — for regional radon statistics and educational content.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as described below.

5.1 Within the PureTech Companies

As described in Section 1, the PureTech Companies share administrative systems and share customer records to the extent needed to quote, schedule, permit, perform, invoice, warrant, and support the work you requested.

5.2 With Subcontractors and Trade Partners

Where a project requires a trade we do not perform in-house, or where capacity requires it, we share the information necessary to complete the work — typically your name, property address, phone number, access instructions, and the relevant scope. Subcontractors are permitted to use that information only to perform the work.

5.3 With Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers who support our operations and are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us. Categories include:
•    Website and hosting — our website platform and hosting provider
•    CRM, database, and workflow automation — the systems that store customer records and move data between our tools
•    Scheduling and dispatch
•    Telephone, SMS, and voicemail
•    E-mail and document storage
•    Electronic signature and proposal delivery
•    Invoicing and payment processing
•    Analytics and advertising platforms (see Section 6)
•    Accounting, bookkeeping, insurance, and legal advisors
A current list of the specific providers we use is available on request at info@puretechhs.com.

5.4 Payment Information

Card and bank payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers or bank account numbers on our systems. We retain transaction records — amount, date, authorization result, and the last four digits of the instrument — for accounting, warranty, and tax purposes.

5.5 Call Recording and Monitoring

Some calls to or from our business line may be recorded or transcribed for quality assurance, training, scheduling accuracy, and dispute resolution. Where a call is being recorded, we will notify you at the start of the call. If you prefer not to be recorded, tell us and we will continue without recording or complete the conversation by e-mail or text.

5.6 Legal, Regulatory & Safety Disclosures

We may disclose information as required by law — including in response to court orders, subpoenas, or legal investigations — to municipal or state permitting and inspection authorities as part of the permit process, to our insurers and legal counsel in connection with a claim, and to protect our rights, property, safety, or that of others, or to enforce our agreements.

5.7 Business Transfers

If a PureTech Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction. The receiving party will remain bound by this Policy with respect to information transferred, or will notify you of any material change.

6. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

6.1 What We Use

•    Essential cookies — required for the site, forms, and booking tools to function.
•    Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic sources, page performance, and which pages lead to a contact or booking request.
•    Advertising and conversion tracking — we advertise through Google Ads and Google Local Services Ads. These platforms set cookies and receive click identifiers so we can measure which ads produce leads and calls. We may also use remarketing, which shows our ads to people who previously visited our site.
•    Call tracking — some advertisements display a tracking telephone number that forwards to our main line, so we can attribute a call to the ad that produced it.
•    Lead forms on advertising platforms — if you submit your information through an ad unit rather than our website, that platform collects it and transmits it to us; the platform’s own privacy policy also applies.

6.2 Your Choices

•    Browser settings — you can block or delete cookies through your browser preferences. Blocking essential cookies may prevent forms and booking tools from working.
•    Google Analytics opt-out — available through Google’s browser add-on.
•    Google Ads personalization — can be turned off in your Google account ad settings.
•    Do Not Track — our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because no common standard for them has been adopted.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep information only as long as we need it, and our retention periods are driven by warranty and legal exposure rather than convenience.

Leads and estimates that did not become jobs:

3 years from last contact

Follow-up, marketing measurement, and dispute defense

Signed agreements, quotes, change orders, and warranty documents:

10 years from substantial completion

Wisconsin’s 7-year statute of repose for construction claims (Wis. Stat. § 893.89), plus warranty terms and a margin for claims filed near the end of the period

Radon test results and system documentation:

10 years from the date of service

Warranty administration, retest comparison, and defense of performance claims

Electrical job records, permits, and inspection results:

10 years from substantial completion

Permit history, code compliance, and statute of repose

Invoices, payment records, and accounting data:

7 years

 Tax and accounting requirements

Marketing lists and opt-in records:

Until you opt out, plus a suppression record kept indefinitely

To honor your opt-out and prove we did

Website analytics and advertising data:

Per platform default, generally 14 months

Set by the analytics platform

Call recordings, where made:

12 months

Quality assurance and dispute resolution

We may retain information longer where a claim, audit, or legal hold requires it, and we may retain de-identified or aggregated data indefinitely.

8. Data Security

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including secure form submissions, encrypted data transmission, access controls that limit who within the PureTech Companies can view customer records, multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts, and vendor agreements that require confidentiality.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by Wis. Stat. § 134.98 and any other applicable law.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may:
•    Access or correct the personal information we hold about you
•    Request deletion of your information, subject to the retention obligations in Section 7 — we generally cannot delete records tied to a signed agreement, permit, warranty, or payment during the periods described there
•    Opt out of marketing communications at any time, without affecting service-related messages about work in progress
•    Opt out of call recording (Section 5.5)
•    Opt out of marketing use of project photographs taken at your property, at any time, by written notice
•    Request a copy of the service records associated with your property

9.1 State Privacy Laws

Some states give residents additional rights — including the right to know what categories of personal information are collected and shared, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, we will honor those rights to the extent they apply to us. As noted throughout, we do not sell personal information. To make a request, use the contact information below and tell us which state you reside in.

9.2 How to Make a Request

E-mail info@puretechhs.com or call (608) 292-4221. We may need to verify your identity and your connection to a property before releasing records, particularly where a property has changed hands. We will respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need more time. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written authorization.

10. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party websites, including scheduling tools, payment pages, review platforms, mapping services, and government or industry resources. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content. We encourage you to review their policies before submitting information.

11. SMS Privacy

PureTech Home Services LLC may disclose personal data and other information relating to text messaging as follows:
•    Third parties that help provide the messaging service. We may share your personal data with providers that help us deliver text messages, including platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors that assist in message delivery. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with a third party for purposes unrelated to supporting you in connection with that campaign.
•    Affiliates. We may disclose personal data to the PureTech Companies; their use and disclosure of your personal data remains subject to this Policy.
TEXT MESSAGING ORIGINATOR OPT-IN DATA AND CONSENT WILL NOT BE SHARED WITH ANY THIRD PARTIES FOR THEIR OWN MARKETING PURPOSES.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our services are directed to adults and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, and we do not knowingly enter into service agreements with anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at info@puretechhs.com and we will delete it.
Where we perform work at a childcare facility, school, or similar setting, we collect information about the facility and its authorized representatives — not about the children present.

13. Where Your Information Is Processed

The PureTech Companies operate in Wisconsin and our services are offered only in the United States. Information is stored and processed in the United States by us and our service providers. If you access our site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically — including to add a new PureTech Company, a new service line, or a new category of service provider. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised Last Updated date. Where a change materially affects how we use information we already hold about you, we will provide additional notice by e-mail or on the site. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
