Most systems can lower radon levels well below 4 pCi/L and usually get to between 1 - 2 pCi/L depending on the original levels and the home’s design.

Yes. All of our radon mitigation systems include a 5-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty from PureTech Home Services. This covers the system components we install and our workmanship. The in-line fan is covered separately by the manufacturer’s own warranty, which is included in your system packet. Our warranty automatically transfers to future owners if you sell your home, so long as the system remains in place and operating.

No. A sump pump isn’t necessary. There are other ways to create effective radon reduction systems in homes without sump pits or basements. When a sump is already present we'll often create a slight modification and utilize the existing pit.

Not effectively. While they can help reduce air leaks, sealants alone rarely bring radon levels down to safe levels. A full mitigation system is usually needed for consistent results under 4.0 pCi/L.

It depends. It is quite common that a home buyer's contract will use a radon contingency requiring testing, and if elevated levels are found, a mitigation system. Elevated levels with no mitigation system will most likely affect your home's value negatively.
